The Census-Taker - a Wanderhome Playbook
A downloadable playbook
Across Hæth, there are all sorts of people. Kith of every stripe and kind. You’ve been tasked with learning about them, as much as you can. The world is large, and the road is long. Better get going.
The Census-Taker is a playbook for working animals - animals who might have a tougher time letting themselves fall into whimsy. Would you be on the road if it weren't for this job? Would you like to be?
Wanderhome is copyright of Possum Creek Games Inc. The Census-Taker is an independent production by me, Ben K. Rosenbloom, and is not affiliated with Possum Creek Games Inc! It's published under the Wanderhome Third Party License.
The cover image is assembled from page 101 of "The Door without a Knocker, and other tales", page 101 and page 166 of "Report of an expedition down the Zuni and Colorado Rivers by Captain L. Sitgreaves, and page 110 of "Songs for Little People" - all courtesy of the British Library and in the public domain. The Background is Taking the Census by Francis William Edmonds, from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is also in the public domain.

Ha! The games on the road are a lovely pick list for every group of Wanderhome players, on top of this being a solid playbook as a whole. Everyone should give this a read for that alone. And THEN another read for the rest!
