NEW BLOOD v3: Complete!
NEW BLOOD is now complete! This latest update includes a campaign frame, with 9 Landmarks and 10 Delves, each with an assortment of beats to choose from, as well as hosts of new adversaries and new fallouts to inflict on your players. I mentioned in the last update that I'd been struck by inspiration for an additional feature - new to this version are 6 new extra advances, new "classes" that characters can discover, embedded in the adventure (plus some other small extra abilities scattered throughout).
It's big! The PDF now clocks in at ~115 pages of content. It's also liberally sprinkled with illustrations, diagrams, and pictures, sourced from the public domain, making it quite pretty to look at, if I do say so myself.
There will perhaps be more updates, as I figure out how to make the pdf more usable (and I want to put out a text-only or printer-friendly version, since it is rather jam packed), and I can't promise that I squashed all the typos. I can already tell that my export settings crunched the quality of the art, so I'll see if I can figure that out. And I expect to write an update going over some of my design thinking, both for the extra advances as well as what it means to design an adventure for Heart!
If you've made it here, thanks for checking it out. I hope you enjoy it!
